HAO JU（ JAMES JU )

He graduated from the Chinese Classical Dance Department of Beijing Dance Academy (“BDA”) with a master's degree. JU is the most famous student of both Mr. SUN Ying (the founder of HanTang Classical Dance) and Mr. LI Zhengyi (the founder of Chinese Classical Dance). JU’s first dance teacher was Svetlana Zakharova, the prima ballerina with Bolshoi Ballet and the winner of the Golden Mask Award. From 2000 to 2004, JU continuously received first-class scholarships.

Based on his solid dancing skills and abundant performance experience, in 2005 JU was admitted by BDA as one of the outstanding students who were specially trained for the major of Chinese Classical Dance. During his study for his bachelor's and master's degrees, JU taught at BDA and Beijing Sport University and attended the compilation of the BDA 60-year-anniversary textbook series.

During his study in BDA, JU received the outstanding performance award of Dance League and won the gold award for creation with the dance “XingSan” in the professional group of the 2011 Singapore International Dance Competition. After graduation, JU worked in CCTV Channel 3. In 2014, JU moved to the U.S. and started engaging in the overseas promotion and education of Chinese Classical Dance.
